But, as any seasoned Houstonian RVer knows, our city's unique climate presents a year-round challenge when it comes to storing and maintaining our beloved homes-on-wheels. From the blistering summer sun and pop-up thunderstorms to the pervasive humidity, protecting your investment is paramount. That's where a well-thought-out storage plan comes in.

Spring (March - May): The Great RV Awakening
As the azaleas bloom and the humidity begins its steady climb, it's time to awaken your RV from its winter slumber. Spring in Houston is the perfect time for a pre-season shakedown.
De-winterize and Inspect: If you winterized your RV, now is the time to flush the antifreeze from the water lines, sanitize the fresh water tank, and de-winterize the plumbing. This is also a great time to inspect your tires, check for any leaks in the roof or windows, and test your appliances.
Spring Cleaning: Give your RV a thorough cleaning, both inside and out. A good wash and wax will protect the exterior from the impending summer sun.
